When we reach a certain age especially when we hit puberty, there is a whole new feeling kicking inside of us and of course hormone changes. I think that's the reason why people act differently after reaching puberty and when they enter into the new phase of teenage life, which we might sometimes refer to as the ultimate nightmare for some parents. When we enter into this seemingly new and exciting world when everything feels and looks new and alluring, we will easily get caught up with all the changes; physical, mental, emotions and surroundings. As we grow older, the desire to be in a relationship slowly snowballs and that's when we view the opposite sex in a totally different way. All of a sudden, boys are not so gross anymore and girls just look like blossoming flowers.
Yeap, that was how I felt too but as the day goes by I'm starting to really appreciate my single life. When I said it last time I just said it but I didn't really mean and feel that way. However, now I said it with a sincere and truthful heart. I HATELOVEbeing single! Single means total freedom and I don't have to worry about my so-called "another half". When I gave a thorough thought about relationships, to be honest I'm not ready to be in one yet. I just don't think I found the right one yet whom I will open up the door to my heart and let him be in my life. Just the thought of it gives me the feeling that this is totally wrong and I'm not ready at all. For the time being, I just love being alone or spend some quality time with my family. =) I LOVE SINGLEHOOD!!! Can't stress it more..
Sometimes, I feel like I'm a heartbreaker. Rejected and broke a few hopeful hearts along the way. It is purely because I don't feel like they are the right one for me. I just don't feel the same way as they did for me. Even if that person is a good guy, no feelings means no hope. I don't regret my decisions and I'm sticking with them. I honestly admit that I am the type of girl who doesn't have any luck with the guys I have crushes on. Unreciprocated love you see... Haha...XD But I'm a strong believer of things happen for a reason so it means that they are not the one. =) When I looked back at all my crushes for all those people, well.... I think I'm just being plain young and foolish and full of raging hormones. LOL.. I used to think that what I felt was love but now I know that it is just a crush. No big deal. And if I were to be given a chance to be in a relationship with them; even with the person I wrote about in my previous post, well, I'll pass. No, thank you!=)

So there is a new addition to my family or what my mum likes to call 2+1. Someone way back from Sabah. His name is Ronald, my sis bf. Almost every Friday my sis will come home from KL with Ronald as they're doing their internships at the same place and so 2 days ago was his 22nd birthday. We decided to celebrate his birthday together with Mother's Day- I know it's already over but it's never too late as long as someone cares and is sincere right? Also, it was the day when all of us had the chance to celebrate it together as a family.
About 6pm we went to Renaissance Hotel to take our delicious chocolate cake- birthday cake for the birthday boy. Then, we went to 'Wok And Pan' that serves Western delicacies to have our dinner. We ate so much that we would seriously puke if we took another bite of anything. However, the food was awesome!! 5 gold stars all the way!! =) The minestrone soup was awesome! My sis who doesn't really like western food especially western soups surprisingly loved it so much that she asked me to prepare that soup for her. WTH? Do I look like a Western chef? Overall, those minestrone soup, pumpkin soup, spaghetti, super large chicken burger, fish and chips, chicken cordon bleu and BBQ chicken were excellent! Looking forward to going there with my family again soon. =)

P.S: My hair is super ugly because as usual one's hair will look extra horrible when it's in the process of growing after choping it short. So please do ignore my hair. The fun didn't really end there. After dinner we headed straight to Dataran Pahlawan to catch a movie. We were supposed (and wanted real bad) to watch 'Kung Fu Panda 2' but alas, the seats left were separated and well to make it simple, the screen was basically directly glued to our faces. Therefore, we ended up watching my show, the 'Green Lantern' at 9.30pm. Ronald called me Green Lantern weeks before the show was premiered because the 1st time we all went out , I wore a green top, and I mean super green, green all the way. (Btw, green is my favourite colour) So that was how I got the name and he still calls me that- he and my sis! Fortunately, that show or should I say my show was great! The show ended at 11.30pm and then it's time to go home because the next day the mother of all lanterns- that's my mum had to go to work in the morning. So, basically that day was full of awesomeness! We had lots of fun and everybody was super happy! Great food, great movie and most importantly great company! What more could I ask for?

Age is just a number. How young is young and how old is old? One thing I know for sure is that no matter what age that person is, his/her mental age is definitely not the same as the age written on his/her birth certificate. Believe it or not sometimes young people whom we consider as "children or kids" know more than the so-called "adults" do. Each child grows differently according to their surroundings. When children are brought up in a tough surrounding where they are forced to be independent and mature at such early age, you'll be surprised how mature and adult-like they can be over the years. That is why people shouldn't be fooled by age and numbers. Have you ever met adults or old folks who don't act like the way they should or have mentalities that they shouldn't have since they are called the 'adults'? Yeah, I thought so. Annoying isn't it? Sometimes it feels like we are the adults and they are the children. It is definitely not fun at all to switch roles and be the voice of reasons all the time. Don't you just wish you could be a kid just for once?
The older you are doesn't necessarily mean the wiser you'll be. Sometimes even old people can be foolish but that is one of the many realities they refuse to accept. Adults and old folks are extremely stubborn when it comes to advice. They refuse to take others advice especially their own kids and the ones who are way younger than them. They failed to realise that sometimes even children or youngsters are able to give amazing advice when in need. It doesn't necessarily mean that if a particular person is giving you logical and good advice but since he/she is way younger than you, you should just push them away and throw all of the advice into the dustbin. That just means that you are being egotistical, stubborn and foolish. Unfortunately, some youngsters act and think like pre-school children. Therefore, all you can do is let time heals their brains. So people, listen up! Don't underestimate the power of psychological age. Don't be stubborn and foolish. Stubbornness and ego will bring you no where. Ignore the age, take the good advice.
